The project aims to enhance transnational collaboration and promote innovative educational practices by integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) topics into school curricula using the Flipped Approach. Key activities involve developing a curriculum framework aligned with the SDGs, a micro-training course for ESG learning environments, and a comprehensive Teachers’ Careers Package. Expected outcomes include an ESG School Plan, a micro-training course, and a set of 20 ready-to-use ESG lesson plans supported by training materials to empower educators and external stakeholders alike.

While ESG topics are gaining importance, embedding them across various subject areas using a flipped classroom methodology is a novel pedagogical strategy. This promotes active, student-centered learning both in and outside the classroom.
By emphasizing practical and informal learning experiences, the project goes beyond traditional classroom teaching to engage students more deeply and authentically with sustainability issues. The tailored course for designing ESG learning environments provides flexible, scalable, and accessible professional development for teachers, adapting to diverse school contexts.
