The Provincial Education Directorate in Mersin is the highest education authority in the province under the governorship of Mersin, incorporating and executing all the districts. The Directorate of Education is responsible for executing and monitoring all formal and non-formal education and training services under its constitution in the province and in 13 districts on behalf of the Ministry of National Education. It is commissioned to organize, execute, monitor, and control education and training services at all levels working under the Directorate in the city on behalf of the Ministry of National Education. Our directorate has nearly 406,912 students between the ages of 3 and 19. The ones attending pre-primary and primary are nearly 157,000 in number. There is a population of 29,236 teachers and 5,000 assistant staff related to education. Thus, we can reach all the educational institutions and families as well. 1,281 schools.

The CIFP Polytechnic of Santiago is part of the State Network of Centers of Excellence in Vocational Training , an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports, in collaboration with the autonomous communities. Our designation as a Center of Excellence was granted through the 2022 Call (Order EFP/717/2022, of June 30) , within the framework of the Vocational Training Modernization Plan, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism—Next Generation EU. Being part of this network implies a great commitment and responsibility to the productive fabric, the students, the center’s staff, and society in general, which forces us to work and continuously improve in lines such as equipment and facilities: to have appropriate equipment and spaces that meet the highest standards of professional and didactic requirements. Innovation and digitalization : with active learning methodologies and emerging technologies. Collaboration with the productive fabric: through alliances with companies, sectoral associations, and social agents. 4th Primary School of Nafplio

The 4th Primary School of Nafplio is located in Nafplio, a beautiful historic town close to such important archaeological sites in Greece as Epidaurus, Mycenae, and Argos. The 4th Primary School used to be a unified, reformed, educational, all-day school between 2010 and 2016. It is housed in two modern buildings and attended by approximately 350 pupils. The teaching personnel consist of over 30 teachers. The school’s infrastructure in terms of materials and equipment is being constantly upgraded so as to be able to face new educational challenges. Our teaching staff are highly trained and qualified in education and teaching. A large percentage of our personnel hold a second bachelor’s degree as well as master’s degrees. Our teachers have served in posts of responsibility as school advisors, school activities advisors, new textbook trainers, etc.; they have been involved in various projects, including the Open Discovery Space, and they have also been trained in new technologies. The school’s headmistress is both an eTwinning ambassador and a Teachers4Europe ambassador. Our teaching staff are highly trained and qualified in education and teaching. Initially established within the Scisciano district, the organization historically managed four foundational branches dedicated to early childhood, primary, and lower secondary education, including the Middle School, PM Rossi Primary School, Palazzuolo Primary School, and Frascatoli Kindergarten. This robust structural framework underwent a significant institutional expansion during the 2013/14 academic year, incorporating the educational infrastructure of San Vitaliano. Consequently, the entity was reorganized and officially designated as the “Scisciano and San Vitaliano Omodeo-Beethoven” co-educational school, thereby expanding its regional governance and educational delivery capacity.
